In the first technical workshop, we will do a desk study on Florida's Climate Action Plan. We will try to understand how institutions influence sustainability and development by synthesing and integrating different online articles and Web maps so that we can evaluate whether there was(is) climate justice. You will learn how to collect, analyse and visulise data and use critical thinking with geo-spatial analytics and mapping.
This workshop is useful for town and regional planners and decision makers who need to understand the liability risk a town or villages may experience as a result of an inapt disaster recovery plan. You will learn how to weigh the levels of hazards differently for different communities and ecotypes. The workshop focus is the why, what and how of putting in place an action plan for the risk prone citizens and eco systems.
